Today I have good news and bad news for yah…
Bad news first: I am done with blogging…
ON THIS PAGE!
Good news: I GOT A DOMAIN!
I’ll be blogging there from now on, so yeah, this is gonna be the last post you’ll probably see on this site. For recent posts, go check out n1ghtmareplaysgames.com i have already posted 2 new posts there. So yeah. That’s about it. My name has been mali, and I bid you all farewell ❤
Today, I have another anime-related post (BECAUSE THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH ANIME OKAY?) and this time, it’s about my top 5 anime list. Note that I haven’t watched that many anime series but I’ve watched enough to differ a really good anime from a really bad one.
I’m gonna rate these from 1 to 10 in Animation, Story and Feels.
This post is gonna be extremely long, but I recommend you read since I put a LOT of effort into it.
*NOTE*: There are spoilers up ahead again sooo watch out!
Okay so let’s get going!
Coming in at number 5, we have
Erased (Boku dake ga inai machi).
Erased is a 12-episode anime which follows the life of Satorou Fujinuma, a manga artist who also possesses an ability called “Revival” which takes him back in time before life-threatening incidents happen, which allows him to prevent it and change the outcome of the future. The story takes a huge turn when Satorou finds his mother murdered in his apartment, the murderer being the same person who killed two young girls and one boy 18 years before this event. This situation ends up triggering Revival and taking Satorou 18 years earlier, giving him a chance to alter the past and save his friends and his mother.
First target was Kayo Hinazuki, a lonely girl who was a target of physical abuse by her parents. She was an easy target since every Saturday evening, she would get beat up from her mother and get thrown into their shed to spend the night so the abuse scars would heal from the cold. Satorou saved her by becoming a good friend of her and stopping the abuse from her mother with the help of their teacher.
Next target was Hiromi Sugita, he saved him by also staying around him and not letting him stay by himself anywhere.
The third and final target was Aya Nakanishi, he saved her by befriending her.
After saving all three targets, Satorou gets into his teacher’s car, thinking that he would get a ride home, but the teacher reveals himself as the killer and drowns the car with Satorou tied to a seat. This ends up putting Satorou in a coma for fifteen years.
When he wakes up, he reveals that the teacher was the serial killer and gets him arrested.
The reason why this anime isn’t lower in the list, it’s because it completely counters Steins;Gate’s theory that changing the past can’t affect key points in the future. The animation wasn’t so bad (expected since it was made in 2016), I give it a solid 8/10 in the animation, there are quite a few feels involved, giving it a 7/10 in feels and the story was a bit rushed, giving it a 6/10.
In number 4, we have
Your Lie in April (Shigatsu wa kimi no uso).
(a.k.a the anime that shattered Amar’s emotions into pieces)
In this anime, we see the life of Kousei Arima, a 14-year-old child-prodigy who was one of the best known piano players as a child, who quit piano after his mother (who was also his piano instructor) passed away when he was 12. He had quit piano for two years because he was having a mental breakdown, limiting his vision to only chromotone and he couldn’t hear the notes of the piano while he was playing and he had decided to continue his life with his childhood friends Tsubaki and Watari. His life changed one April, when Tsubaki introduced him to Kaori Miyazono, a 14-year-old violinist who is extremely cute and beautiful and ughhhhhh (yes I do have a crush on an anime character, *puts on glasses* DEAL WITH IT). Kousei’s world finally took color once he met Kaori. Buut she had a crush on Watari :/. Kaori needed an accompanist to accompany her violin playing with a piano so she decided to assign Kousei as his pianist. Kousei was skeptical that he might mess up his piano playing because of his lack of hearing notes, but later agreed into being her accompanist. During the performance, Kousei started thinking about his mother, causing him to lose his ability to hear notes (even though his earing was completely fine) and he started losing it. While playing, he took a good look at Kaori and his playing suddenly became extremely good, he had regained his ability to hear notes again! HALELUJAH! (lmao)
At the end of their performance, Kaori fainted. She was rushed to the emergency room and she stayed in the hospital for quite a while, causing Kousei to become worried. He visited every once in a a while and for her sake, he picked up piano playing again. He became the Kousei he used to be. During the end of the school year, Kaori’s health worsened a lot, causing her to get to the hospital again, because she had “tripped and hit her head” (you’ll see why that’s in quotes). She had gotten really pale and she was starting to lose her blonde hair color. Kaori had a really bad illness (it is not defined what illness it was but it’s believed to be ALS as she was losing her ability to walk, and play the violin) and it was *sobs* TERMINAL.
Kousei was gonna participate in one of the biggest competitions in piano playing, during which Kaori was gonna undergo surgery so she can hopefully become better.
The last episode of the anime showed Kousei playing the piano in his competition like a champ, during which Kaori was also playing along in her violin (In Kousei’s imagination). While playing along, the song meets a breaking point (something like a beat drop but in classical music) and Kaori starts to burst into rays of light, signifying her losing her battle to the illness. After the competition, he gets the news.
Kaori had passed away during the surgery.
Kaori’s parents gave Kousei a letter from her, which stated that he should keep looking up and not go into a mental breakdown after losing another loved one, and in the last paragraph of the letter was cited:
“Please don’t forget me.
Promise me you won’t forget me.
I’m glad it was you.
I hope this reaches you, Arima Kousei.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I’m sorry we couldn’t eat all those canelés.
I’m sorry I hit you so much.
I’m sorry I was so selfish.”
It’s revealed that Kaori had always had a crush on Kousei, but she was trying to cover it up with her saying that she liked Watari, since she felt bad for Tsubaki, who you could easily tell that she was also in love with Kousei. This is why the name of the anime is
“Your Lie in April”
“Kaori’s Lie in April”.
*Tries not to cry*
*Cries a lot*
*sniff* animation 8/10, feels 11/10 and story 8/10 let’s move on
Steins;Gate had a beautiful Story, giving it a 10/10 in story, animation was a little clumsy, giving it a 7/10 and there were some feels, an 8/10 to be exact.
In number 2, we have part one of a two-part Anime series,
Clannad is based around the life of Tomoya Okazaki during his high school days (Junior and Senior years to be exact). Tomoya hates his town, but instead of being depressed by this, he uses it as an excuse for him being a sarcastic deliquent. Tomoya’s mother had died during a car accident and his father had raised him by himself, but they would argue a lot. Once while arguing, they got into a fight in which Tomoya injured his right shoulder and since then, he has had really bad relations to his father. He and his best friend, Youhei Sunohara go through high school and make a lot of friends along the way, such as Kyou, Ryou, Fuuko, Kotomi, Tomoyo. One day, while returning home from school, he meets Nagisa Furukawa, a girl who was one year older than him but she was really shy and she really underrated herself. She had a really weak body and she would get sick every winter. She changes Tomoya’s life for the better.
Together, they try to revive the drama club, but they fail the first few times. Then, together they go through many challenges to elect their friend Tomoyo as a Student Council President so they can revive the drama club. There are quite a few problems along the way because Tomoyo used to be part of a gang so they have to convince the school staff that she is a better person than she used to be.
Tomoyo gets elected, Drama Club gets revived, Nagisa writes a play, everyone becomes happy! In the end of the series, Okazaki asks Nagisa out and they become BF and GF!
Animation was good enough, 8/10, Story was really good, 9/10 aswell, and there were some feels in some places, also an 8/10 in that.
This isn’t the end though, as we approach the number 1 Anime on my list:
Clannad: After Story!
The feels are real on this one so get your shit together before you read, prepare tissues!
Once they’re boyfriend and girlfriend, Tomoya solves some of the other friends’ problems (Sunohara’s, Misae’s and Yukine’s to be exact) and then he ends up having problems with his father again. He moved out of his father’s home into Nagisa’s home and there, he finds a job. He works as an electrician and while he becomes really close to getting a HUGE promotion, he finds out that his dad got in trouble and had gotten arrested. Words spread around fast and Tomoya ends up without his promotion. This makes him get married to Nagisa and move out of the Furukawa’s home. They get married, they move out and Nagisa gets pregnant. Once again, during the winter she gets ill so she has to be careful. She was due like 2 weeks after winter was over but unfortunately she had an early birth.
This was Baby Ushio’s hello to life, but unfortunately, it also was Nagisa’s goodbye to it…
Tomoya falls in a five-year depression, Ushio during that time lives with the Furukawa’s. One day, Tomoya and Ushio go to a trip to get to know each-other better as a father-daughter duo. On that trip, they get to meet Tomoya’s grandmother, who explains why his father is in the situation he currently is and why Tomoya is actually in a worse situation than his father was. At this point, Tomoya realizes he actually wasn’t a bad father after all, he just had a hard life. He had been working, doing house chores and taking care of Tomoya, all at the same time, so to take some rest, he resorted to alcohol as an easy way out. This was the eye-opening moment for Tomoya, so he immediately apologized to Ushio for not living with her and then he went to apologize to his father as well, for not being a good son.
Winter came around, and Ushio faced the same fate as Nagisa, she got sick. Tomoya took good care of her, then she wanted to go to a trip so they can take some rest. Tomoya first disagreed, then Ushio insisted so Tomoya was like eh, what could go wrong?
Everything. Everything could go wrong. You had 5-year-old Ushio with an extremely bad fever that also killed her mother, going out in the middle of winter. Everything could go wrong there.
They went out, slowly but surely, then Ushio fell, Tomoya picked her up and asked if she was alright. She said she was fine, it was nothing. They continued. Ushio fell once again, but this time, she wouldn’t get up. It was too late. Ushio had passed away.
There used to be a legend in that city that whenever a good person was in despair, a light would appear, a light that would grant them a wish.
Tomoya wished that Nagisa wouldn’t die. He had flashbacks of when he first met her, then back to Ushio’s birth. He saw Nagisa’s face as she closed her eyes.
NAGISAAA! He screamed. She opened her eyes confused, and told Tomoya she was gonna sleep for a little since giving birth was exhausting. He gave Ushio her first baby shower, and they lived happily forever after 🙂
This is legit, the best anime in existence (in my opinion), and I would recommend it to everyone, it’s extremely eye-opening, seeing how life is once adulthood comes, the way Tomoya faces tose problems, it’s absolutely perfect.
Story was 20/10, Feels were 20/10, Animation was the same as the original Clannad~ 8/10.
So yeah. That’s about it. I am super sorry for the extremely long blog post but I think it’s all worth it.
Lately I’ve been watching a lot, and I mean A LOT of anime. I finished three series with around 20 episodes of them in one week and I can’t stop! In this blog post I wanna talk about a really interesting anime called “Steins;Gate”
**NOTE** THERE ARE SPOILERS AHEAD SO IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GET SPOILED, LEAVE!
In Steins;Gate, we see a self-proclaimed scientist known as Okabe Rintarou, who’s an 18 year old guy, living in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan. His “alter ego” is Hououin Kyouma. He lives in the “Future Gadget Laboratory”, a.k.a his apartment. He and two of his friends (Itaru Hashida and Mayuri Shiina) created the Future Gadget Lab, where they would do all sorts of experiments. One day, Okabe decides to go to a science fair and listen to a lecture about how Time Travel isn’t possible. While there, Okabe keeps proving the lecturer wrong and decides to leave shortly after. After he leaves, he runs intо Makise Kurisu, a physicists who after a while, Okabe finds lying in the floor of a janitor’s closet, on top of a pool of blood. He later texts Itaru, who had connected his phone to Future Gadget #8: Phone Microwave (Temporary Name) (The “Temporary Name” is an actual part of the name, no joke) about the event of finding Kurisu dead, causing the Phone Microwave (Temporary Name) to have an electrical discharge. When the discharge happens, Okabe feels something odd, only to realise, his text actually changed the past – Kurisu is alive and well. He was able to read the text about Kurisu being dead and managed to save her.
He had officially (and accidentally) invented the first Time Machine.
Kurisu joined the Future Gadget Lab and helped invent the “Time Leap Machine”, which had the same concept as the phone microwave, but instead of texts, compressed brain signals were sent back in time. With the invention of the time leap machine, they also theorized about “World Lines”, basically paralell universes with another name. There was only one problem: only Okabe had the ability to contain memories from one world line to another. From there, he goes to a world line in which Mayuri – one of his best friends gets killed, so he tries to go back in time to save her but no help, she still dies. He goes back over and over and over again but still no luck, it’s like her death is bound by fate. So he’s stuck in a really awkward position – if he goes back in time where Mayuri doesn’t die, in that world line Kurisu dies. So basically he has to choose between Mayuri and Kurisu. While in that world line, he meets Suzuha Amane, a time traveller who explains that Kurisu was gonna be the inventor of the actual time machine and there’s gonna be a third world war, in which over 4 billion lives will be lost. The only way to prevent this war would be going back to the original world line, and save Kurisu, without altering past events. He uses Suzuha’s time machine to go back in time and try to save Kurisu without altering the past. How is he gonna do that? Save Kurisu BUT, make the original Okabe see the same sight that he saw – Kurisu lying in a pool of blood. Okabe manages this by comfronting the attacker, and getting stabbed himself, creating a pool of blood. Also I can’t remember how, he manages to make Kurisu faint. There, Okabe sees Kurisu thinking she’s dead, but she’s not, hence not triggering the Phone Microwave, and ends up saving both Mayuri and Kurisu.
Phew. That was a mouthful.
So that’s about it. And remember, Peace and love! ❤
A few days ago, my family decided to take a break from everything around us and take a trip to Albania to relax.
*Note that I’m currently working on a video of the highlights there so stay tuned, it’s gonna be AWESOME.*
It was Sunday, the 8th of May 2016, my mom woke me up at 6:00 A.M. which I’ll be honest I was at first quite pissed off since it was Sunday and I have no school so in my head I was like why the freak would she wake me up this early, it’s Sunday ffs but that feeling quickly disappeared when she reminded me that we’re going to Albania.
I got up, went to the bathroom, splashed cold water in my face, brushed my teeth, got out of the bathroom, got dressed, combed my hair, grabbed some stuff and ran Down in my garage, just got this new Lamborghini here, it’s fun to drive up here in the Sharr hills. But you know what I like more than materialistic things? KNAWLEDGE. In fact, I’m a lot more proud of these seven new books I just bought.
Okay, I’m done. I ran downstairs and loaded the stuff that I got in the trunk of our car (A 2007 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI) and off in the road we g-Dad hasn’t had his morning coffee…
We headed to a 24/7 Bar where my dad had his coffee and we head to Albania!
The road took around 4 hours and we decided to skip Tirana and head straight to Durres and stay there for a while. When we arrived, we immediately had breakfast: Seafood Risotto (which was hands down the best dish I have ever tasted in my life) sided by grilled Octopus and a fish (I can’t remember what fish).
Once we were done with breakfast, I went to the beach, laid a towel on the ground and I laid on top of it, relaxing for around an hour. After that, we took a walk around the sea-shore and went to our favorite restaurant in the area, where we had cappuccinos (I had to google to learn how to spell that) and rented some seats in the beach, where I slept for like 2 hours.
We headed back to the same restaurant we had breakfast in and ate lunch – personally I had seafood Spaghetti while everybody had the same Risotto, as a side dish we had fried shrimp which I loved.
And from there we headed back home. I know it wasn’t all that exciting but it was still quite relaxing 🙂
That’s about it. What do you guys want me to talk about next? Leave your suggestion in the comment section below. And remember, peace and Love ❤
Today I wanna talk about a French project which I was a part of, It’s called Soif de l’eau a l’ecole which literally translates to “Thirst for water in school” and the name’s kinda stupid 😛
Three schools participated in this project: “Lirija” from Tetovo, “Naim Frasheri” also from Tetovo and “Faik Konica” from Odri.
I had to record and edit these videos for the project. Check them out!
After I made these videos and photos, the participants were sent to Struga. There we had a lot of fun, even though we got promised an amazing hotel (it was utter ~Excuse the Language~ sh*t).
First day/night: The bus picked us up at 14:00 and we arrived at around 18:00 (Not quite sure, I’m a fish-head XD). After we arrived, we checked into our rooms, had dinner: 7 super cold Kebabs and a little bit of salad on the side, played a game about remembering names from the other school’s kids and our teachers played a movie which no one really cared about, they were just chit-chatting about random stuff. The teacher took our phones then we kinda sneaked them back. The night was horrible, beds were surprisingly comfy but the guys from the other room came over for a bit, and those idiots left the balcony door open so me and my friend froze.
Second day/night: Breakfast: One hard boiled egg, a little bit of white cheese, margarine jelly, and two loafs of bread. Didn’t touch anything, instead took a walk to the city and ate a panini instead. Walked around for a bit, and got back for the presentations to start. We presented the videos, had lunch: Steak and a little bit of salad which was cold, and chilled and relaxed for the next 4-6 hours. Once we were done chilling, me and a couple of other friends played cards with our head teacher, ate dinner: Macaroni with some weird white sauce and sided with boiled sausages, also cold and then we had a party that lasted until 1:00 AM. At around the middle of the party, some students from the other schools, Got on the stage, told the DJ to play “Wiggle” by Jason DeRulo, and started twerking, everybody was stunned… That doesn’t sound right, lemme rephrase that: everybody was weirded out…
Third day (no night this time 😂): I got up, I didn’t really feel well, everyone went down to have breakfast, while I stood in my room and slept for a while. I woke up at around 11:00 AM then we gathered at 12:00 AM, got our packed lunch: Ham and Cheese sandwiches, topped with mayonnaise and Margarine, we got on the bus and headed back home!
In general, it wasn’t really that interesting for me.
Hello dreamers, n1ghtmarE here. I haven’t been able to post much since I’ve been really sick, but I’m feeling much better now. Today’s topic is a little different. It’s not gaming, it’s not YouTube, it’s about a book that I’ve been reading lately.
I’ve been reading “An abundance of Katherines” from my favorite author, John Green. Note that there are gonna be spoilers in this blog post, so if you’re planning on reading this book, maybe you shouldn’t read this post 😛
In this book, John Green speaks about Colin Singleton, a child prodigy who feared that he might lose his “genius” status as an adult and the best part is that he only dated girls named Katherine (exactly 19 of them so far) spelled exactly that way. The book is a third person narrative of Colin’s life after the breakup of Katherine XIX. He and his [best and only] friend Hassan decide to go to a road trip to cure Colin of his heartbreak. During the road trip, they decide to head to Gutshot, Tennessee, the resting place of Archduke Ferdinand. While there, they meet Lindsey Lee Wells, her mother and her friends. Lindsey’s mother gives them jobs so they decide to stay there for a while. There they would have the time of their lives.
I find this book particularly interesting since it’s the perfect combination of comedy, romance, heartbreak and math (yes I do enjoy math).
This book is written in third-person narrative style because as John Green quoted that Colin is not good enough at telling stories that seem interesting to people.
Judging from the Strawpoll, the most (and the only) voted option was dreamers. I don’t have anything else to say except that you should be expecting a new video by tomorrow (or today if I don’t feel lazy).
So yeah. That’s about it.
Thanks for reading, and remember: Peace and Love ❤
